Euroluce, held biennially in Milan, Italy, is a premier event showcasing light not only as a technological and functional element but also as an aesthetic and emotional force essential for the comfort of our spaces. First held in 1976, this International Lighting Exhibition attracts over 300 leading international design-oriented lighting brands, demonstrating the evolution of light in domestic spaces and inspiring innovation and reflection on design culture within the lighting field.
The event aims to highlight light's role in our hyper-connected world, impacting sustainability, digitalization processes, and holistic approaches to wellbeing. The exhibition highlights how light influences perceptions, performance, preferences, behaviors, and moods. Contemporary lighting designers now integrate technological advancements with philosophical reflections on light, creating new concepts poised to revolutionize future lighting device designs.
Euroluce forms part of the larger Salone del Mobile, the world's largest design fair and trade show, held during Milan Design Week at Fiera Milano. The next Euroluce edition will feature the biennial Euroluce exhibition, alternating with the EuroCucina kitchen showcase, and continues to set the stage for innovation in lighting and design.
