New Finelite President: Latest in Legrand's Chain of Appointments

Bob Bonacci ascends to presidency as Jane White expands her role within Legrand
Finelite, an important lighting brand within the Legrand North America lighting sector, has announced the appointment of Bob Bonacci as its new President. Bonacci takes over the position from Jane White, who will be assuming a broader leadership role as the Chief Diversity & Engagement Officer for Legrand, North and Central America (LNCA). White had been associated with the Finelite brand since the 1990s and led sales and marketing efforts for many of those years before her recent 3½ year tenure as President.
Bonacci brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having been involved with Legrand since 2005. He has held various sales leadership positions within the company, including recent sales leadership responsibilities with Wattstopper.
With Bonacci's appointment, all five lighting brands in the Legrand lighting sector have undergone a leadership change in the recent 2+ years:
-
Focal Point: In March 2021, Jimalee Beno was promoted to President of Focal Point after serving as President of the smaller OCL Architectural Lighting brand for just over one year.
-
OCL Architectural Lighting: In January 2022, Jennifer Butler assumed the role of President at OCL, becoming the only current President among the five Legrand lighting brands to be hired externally.
-
Kenall: David Michals, who has spent most of his career with Kenall, took on a broader role within Legrand for three years before being appointed President of Kenall in January 2023.
-
Pinnacle Architectural Lighting: Jim Young, who began his journey with Legrand at Wattstopper in 2012, ascended through the ranks in the Lighting Sector and recently became the President of Pinnacle Architectural Lighting in May 2023.
-
Finelite: And now the Northern California-based Finelite, has appointed Bob Bonacci as its new President, making it the latest brand within the Legrand family to undergo a leadership transition.
It's worth noting that the Legrand lighting sector comprises the five brands cited above and excludes Wattstopper, which falls under the Building Controls Systems (BCS) Division, along with Encelium.
With these recent appointments, Legrand continues to shape its lighting sector with new leadership, building a strong foundation for growth and innovation within each brand.
