SPI Lighting Appoints Ron Newbold as President
Industry executive tapped by Bukas Lighting Group to lead Wisconsin architectural brand
Today, SPI Lighting is announcing that Ron Newbold has joined the company as President.
Newbold is a career-long lighting professional with over 30 years of lighting industry experience. He began his career in operations, marketing, and product development at Acuity Brands and later joined Hubbell Lighting as Product Manager for Progress and, later, Prescolite before advancing to assume P&L responsibility for all indoor brands. Newbold later served as President of LSI Industries’ Lighting Solutions division
Newbold succeeds Interim President, Bill Foley, who will remain aboard for several weeks to assist with the leadership transition.
As a part of Bukas Lighting Group, SPI Lighting remains an independently operated business that strives to benefit from its substantial investment in people, processes, and technology.
