65 New Lighting Partnerships Form

2022 03 65 new agent partnerships pittsburgh michigan.jpg

It's been a busy time for Manufacturers and Lighting Agents forming new partnerships.  Here is the recent roundup.

This was simply too much to fit into the inside.lighting InfoLetter.  Subscribe if you want to get updates like these on a regular basis.  Double-Secret info about newly formed agent/manufacturer partnerships are not normally announced on these webpages.  These excruciatingly tedious reports are available to our email InfoLetter subscribers only.

TWO MARKETS TO WATCH:

Michigan:
With the shutdown of Resource Lighting in December, many new agent-manufacturer partnerships have formed in recent months but the big changes aren’t done.  Signify’s Genlyte Solutions and Pro-Tech Lighting have started a 60-day wind down of their statewide partnership (sans U.P.).  Genlyte Solutions is expected to announce its new agent(s) in Detroit and Grand Rapids in April.

The upcoming IES Detroit Lighting Product Show is sure to reveal many of the same local faces in lots of new places.  That, combined with $35 for a 5-hour open bar could make for a very interesting event.

Pittsburgh / West Virginia:
With One Source Paolicelli Associates exiting the market on March 31, Lutron and Hubbell Lighting have yet to announce their new agent(s) in the marketplace.  We expect both lines to go to existing agents already in the market – as new start up agencies seem to be unlikely at this point.
