Espen Technology Drives Up Performance of Output- & CCT-Adjustable Commercial Downlights
Santa Fe Springs, CA -- Today, Espen Technology announced major performance improvements to its line of versatile commercial LED recessed downlights, for both retrofit and new construction applications. Espen has increased the downlight efficiency by up to 15% with some models achieving 90 lumens per watt. The upgraded models are also now in stock.
The downlights have field-adjustable light output and correlated color temperature (CCT). The field-switchable output and CCT reduces the inventory carrying requirements for both distributors and electrical contractors. A single model for 4”, 6”, 8”, and 9.5” diameter, replaces nine models of varying output and CCTs. As an example, the 8” diameter downlight can be selected for any combination of 1030, 1450, or 2040 lumens with 3000K, 3500K, or 4000K CCT. That combines nine conventional models in one switchable model. This product line was also awarded a 2019 Vision Award by FacilitiesNet.
All of the new commercial downlights are available in either 90+ or 80+ CRI for exceptional color rendering, 0-10V dimmable, and universal voltage (120-277V). The downlights come with a 25” flexible conduit for quick and easy installation. The units come UL-listed with a 5 year warranty.
