Lighting Analysts, Inc., a global leader in illumination engineering software, is pleased to announce a new feature in our software ElumTools®, “Projected Calculation Points” wins an IES 2020 Progress Report recognition!
ElumTools®, a calculation add–in for Autodesk Revit®, breaks new ground and improves workflows with projected calculation points. This feature enables accurate 3-D analysis of any exterior scene: sloped parking areas, topography, multi-level garages, stairs, ramps, and even elaborate architectural facades. The calculation boundaries can be constructed in Revit® or can be drawn by ElumTools® on the fly when using the command. Light meters can be aimed as needed to provide answers to previously difficult questions facing lighting designers.
