Chesapeake Lighting Adds Two New Principals 

James Coles and Steven Cooper leave a NY/NJ Lighting Agent to join long-time Cooper Lighting Solutions agent in the Capitol Region.

COLUMBIA, MD -- Chesapeake Lighting is pleased to announce that James Coles and Steven Cooper have joined our organization. The addition of James and Steven in an ownership capacity, will facilitate our longstanding goal to raise the standards of our industry through business acumen, technical expertise, exceptional service, and a strong commitment to business ethics.

James was most recently a principal at International Lights, a premier lighting agency in the New York City area. He established a new office for International Lights in northern New Jersey. His focus for the new office was Distribution Sales and Internal Operations.

James’s career most notably includes 22 years with Zumtobel in both North America and UK. His accomplishments with Zumtobel led to his position as CEO of the Americas for the Zumtobel group.

Steven was also most recently a principal at International Lights. Steven partnered with James to establish the new office for International Lights in New Jersey. He was primarily responsible for Specification Sales and Marketing. Stevens career in the lighting industry includes 16 years at Zumtobel in both North America and the UK. Steven’s position with Zumtobel was VP of Sales, North America.

James and Steven will join Steven Rasmussen, Donnie Chapman, Mike Larkin, and Wayne Pupa at Chesapeake Lighting, strengthening the ownership team as we continue to enhance an already successful business model.
