Former Acuity and OSRAM executive promoted to lead value-priced fixture and lamp maker

EiKO Global has promoted Yavor Kolarov to Chief Executive Officer, effective May 1, rounding out a year of leadership reshuffling at the Kansas-based lighting supplier. Kolarov joined EiKO in mid-2024 as President and Chief Revenue Officer after holding senior roles at OSRAM and Acuity. His promotion suggests a strategy of continuity rather than course correction.

In the announcement, EiKO described Kolarov’s impact over the past year as “transformative,” citing his role in product portfolio realignment and the introduction of planning processes intended to “differentiate EiKO in a competitive market.” While details of those differentiators remain modestly defined, the company’s leadership is signaling confidence.

Chairman and founder Gary Withers offered an expansive view of the company’s future. “Yavor brings exceptional expertise in all aspects of business management and lighting technology,” Withers said. “He continues to mold EiKO into a top Fixture and Lamp company.” A company nearing 50 years in business, EiKO has long served the channel with a value-focused portfolio aimed at distributors, contractors and end-users.

Now under the ownership of private equity firm Inverness Graham, EiKO has recently emphasized operational discipline and channel alignment over flashier market plays. Kolarov’s elevation appears to affirm that approach — less a bold new chapter than a confident turn of the page.
