Executive Leadership Changes

In his new position, Souvay will focus on providing strategic guidance, overseeing risk management, and advocating for the company in public forums and industry events. His extensive experience, including over 30 years in the lighting industry, will continue to be a pivotal force in driving LMPG’s long-term vision.
Souvay, a seasoned entrepreneur who founded Lumenpulse in 2006, has played a crucial role in establishing LMPG’s reputation for innovation in the specification-grade lighting market. He has been recognized for his contributions with several accolades, including EY Entrepreneur of the Year in Quebec.
Peter Timotheatos, currently Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will succeed Souvay as President and Chief Executive Officer of LMPG. Timotheatos has been a key figure in LMPG since joining in 2014, with roles ranging from Chief Operating Officer to President of Lumenpulse. In his new capacity, Timotheatos will focus on global management and strategic planning, ensuring LMPG’s continued reputation for excellence in both innovation and customer experience.
“I am confident that Peter’s leadership will be unparalleled, strengthening LMPG’s position in the market,” said Souvay. “His expertise will enable our brands to preserve their identities while expanding globally.”
Group's New Financial Leader
Rocco Masella, who previously served as President of Sternberg Lighting, has been appointed Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of LMPG. Masella brings a strong background in finance and operations, honed through his leadership roles at Sternberg, Exenia, and Lumenpulse. As CFO, he will oversee LMPG’s financial strategy, risk management, and IT services. His financial acumen and operational expertise will be key as LMPG pursues both organic growth and strategic acquisitions in the specification-grade lighting industry.

New President at Sternberg Lighting
John Geagan, previously Vice President of Sales at ALW, has been appointed President of Sternberg Lighting. Geagan will oversee all aspects of the brand’s operations, focusing on strategic growth initiatives. His career in the lighting industry spans roles at companies such as Louis Poulsen Lighting and Hess America, where he developed a deep understanding of specifier needs. Under his leadership, ALW achieved several sales records, a testament to his market expertise and strategic vision.
Company Aims for Strategic Growth
These appointments reflect LMPG’s commitment to strengthening its leadership as it prepares for its next phase of growth. With Souvay transitioning to a more strategic role and Timotheatos at the helm, the company aims to continue its tradition of innovation while expanding its global reach. The addition of Masella as CFO and Geagan’s leadership at Sternberg Lighting further solidifies LMPG’s position in the specification-grade lighting market.
“This change in our leadership structure will allow us to focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations,” said Timotheatos. “The experience and passion of our team will drive us forward as we seize new opportunities.”
