Three Distributor Acquisitions Just Happened
Acquisitions expand footprint of National and Regional electrical distributor chains
The common refrain heard this time of year, "Let's revisit after the holidays", was not the mindset of multiple electrical and lighting companies that finalized acquisition deals in recent days.
Graybar Buys Connexion
National distributor juggernaut, Graybar, has acquired one of the more important lighting project distributors in Metro Chicago – Connexion. Connexion has locations in West Chicago and Buffalo Grove, Illinois.
FSG Acquires West-Lite Supply
Facility Solutions Group, Inc. (FSG) has acquired West-Lite Supply, a lighting product distributor in California. This acquisition will expand FSG's service offerings in both Northern and Southern California.
West-Lite Supply's staff, facilities, and services will join FSG to deliver greater reach throughout California. Customers of West-Lite Supply will continue to work with people they trust, with new access to FSG's expanded service offering.
Leadership at both FSG and West-Lite Supply expressed excitement about the agreement and mutual respect for one another, citing industry expertise and top-quality service for their customers.
Dickman Supply Acquires Lyons Electrical Supply and Lighting Showroom
Multi-branch Western Ohio distributor, Dickman Supply, has acquired Lyons Electrical Supply Company and Lighting Showroom. The purchase of the Dayton business marks the fifth location for Dickman Supply and expands the company’s geographical footprint in Indiana and Ohio.
With the acquisition, the largely commercial-based customers of Dickman Supply will have closer access to a locally stocked warehouse. Additionally, the retail customers and contractors of Lyons will have access to an increased selection and expanded services available to them.
