LightFair 2026 is Canceled

LightFair has moved from an annual to a biennial schedule.

Thus, LightFair 2024, LightFair 2026 and LightFair 2028, previously planned for Las Vegas, have been canceled.
LightFair, North America's premier architectural and commercial lighting trade show, has moved from an annual to a biennial schedule and will now take place only in odd-numbered years. Co-owned by ANDMORE, the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) and the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), the biennial decision was made after much discussion on how to adapt the event in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite reaching a record high in attendance and exhibitors in the years leading up to the pandemic, the event in 2021 was smaller and marked by COVID-19 precautions. Stakeholders proposed either breaking the event into regional shows or making it a biennial event to adapt to the new circumstances, with the latter suggestion becoming a reality in 2022.
Future events, originally planned to alternate between the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Javits Convention Center in New York City, are being reevaluated. LightFair 2024, LightFair 2026, and LightFair 2028, previously planned for Las Vegas, have been cancelled, while the locations for LightFair 2025, LightFair 2027, and LightFair 2029, initially slated for New York, may change based on feedback from stakeholders. Official announcements about the future locations will be provided by show organizers.
