Lutron and Hubbell Lighting Appoint New Agent in Pittsburgh
Let’s get the band back together! Gormley Farrington takes on Hubbell Lighting again, and also adds Lutron.
When One Source Paocelli Associates announced in January that it was exiting the Pittsburgh and West Virginia Lighting markets, dozens of important lighting brands were in transition mode as they sought new agent partners. Two of the biggest brands in play, Hubbell Lighting and Lutron, have each chosen Gormley Farrington to represent them in the market.
In what might be described as a bit of a reunion, Gormley Farrington was the Hubbell Lighting agent in 2016 before the brand moved to One Source Paocelli. Also in 2016, Lutron’s 20+ year partnership with Laface & McGovern came to an end.
With the imminent and simultaneous onboarding of two new major lines, Gormley Farrington will likely have its hands very full juggling new personnel, product & process training and reestablishing brand-customer relationships throughout the territory.
A Lutron spokesperson told us that "Lutron is pleased to announce Gormley-Farrington as our new agent for Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. They are in the process of staffing the team and we look forward to them expanding the market for Lutron products and having many years of success."
