The prestigious Lumen West Gala is the annual event that celebrates the SoCal Illumination Awards.  Hosted by the Illuminating Engineering Society Los Angeles Section (IESLA) and IES Orange County Section, this event is a landmark gathering for lighting professionals, boasting a turnout of hundreds of industry professionals and guests each year.

The Lumen West Gala is an exciting celebration of lighting design excellence, and it also represents a vibrant platform to foster the next generation of lighting designers. Not only are individuals and firms honored, but scholarship awards are presented to support upcoming talents in the industry.

The panel of judges, consisting of lighting industry stalwarts, contribute their valuable time and expertise to review the entries. These entries are not only recognized locally but also enter into international consideration as part of the IES Illumination Awards program.

The event includes an opportunity for attendees to network, enjoy memorable photo ops, savor a fantastic dinner and dance the night away to live music. It's more than just an awards ceremony; it's a fun-filled extravaganza that emphasizes fostering a love of lighting and a sense of community among both seasoned professionals and emerging talent.
