CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA — Utopia Lighting has appointed Johan Kim as Outside Sales Representative covering the Southern California territory. The position marks a shift from third-party agency representation to dedicated in-house coverage for the region.

Johan brings nearly a decade of experience in the lighting industry, having held sales and business development roles at several California-based lighting manufacturers and distributors. His background spans distribution sales, sales management, and business development; most recently in senior commercial roles focused on the Southern California market.

The appointment reflects Utopia’s commitment to building closer relationships with specifiers, distributors, and contractors in one of its key markets. With a dedicated representative on the ground, Utopia aims to provide more responsive service and deeper project-level support to the Southern California design and construction community.
