Kenall Lighting Introduces MedMaster Pillow® for Behavioral Health, Expanding Patient-Centered Lighting Solutions for Behavioral Health Facilities
Kenosha, Wisconsin — Kenall Lighting introduces MedMaster Pillow for Behavioral Health, a recessed luminaire purpose-built for behavioral healthcare environments. The latest addition to the MedMaster Pillow family, this luminaire brings the collection’s distinctive architectural design to spaces that require enhanced safety and security, creating a more welcoming patient experience while meeting the performance requirements of behavioral health settings.
Available in 2'×2' and 2'×4' configurations, this family extension features a full backlit LED array and concave diffuser that create a refined illuminated surface with smooth, uniform light distribution. Ambient, reading, and exam modes provide added flexibility for over-bed patient room applications.
Thoughtful attention to detail extends to the luminaire’s security features. Optional flush, countersunk fasteners with a concealed Torx® interface help preserve the fixture’s architectural appearance by minimizing visible hardware. Combined with continuous lens retention and tamper- and ligature-resistant design elements, the fixture balances protection, aesthetics and patient-centered design.
Featuring an impact-resistant polycarbonate lens, sealed construction, and standard IP65 and NSF2 ratings, it delivers reliable performance in demanding care environments. Available with tunable white technology, the luminaire enables caregivers to adapt lighting conditions to changing patient and clinical needs.
