Expanded Control Solution category gives distributors, contractors, and specifiers a practical path from standalone sensors to DLC-listed, gateway-free Bluetooth mesh networked lighting controls and building-wide automation.

Vernon, Calif. — Westgate Manufacturing is strengthening its commercial lighting controls offering through its Keilton-Autani partnership, giving distributors, contractors, and specifiers a clearer path to complete fixture-plus-control solutions for commercial, industrial, and architectural projects.

The expanded Control Solution category brings together Westgate's LED lighting portfolio with scalable control platforms designed for the way projects are actually specified, quoted, installed, and supported. At the center of the offering is the Keilton-Autani controls platform, which allows projects to start with simple luminaire-level controls and scale into Bluetooth mesh networked lighting controls and building-wide automation.

For contractors and lighting agents, that means fewer disconnected pieces to coordinate. For specifiers and facility owners, it means a more flexible controls strategy that can support energy-code requirements, occupancy sensing, daylight harvesting, scheduling, zoning, energy management, and future building automation needs.

"Controls are no longer an afterthought in commercial lighting," said Isaac Hadjyan, Co-CEO of Westgate Manufacturing. "The fixture, the sensor, the software, and the building-management layer all have to work together. That is why the Keilton-Autani partnership is important for Westgate. It gives our customers a proven path from basic fixture-level control to advanced networked lighting control, while still working through a lighting manufacturer and distribution channel they already know."

A Scalable Controls Path: From Room Control to Building Intelligence

Westgate's controls offering is organized around practical levels of control so each project can be matched to the right solution instead of forcing every application into a single system architecture.

Keilton Basic Controls support standalone applications where the project needs dependable occupancy sensing, daylight response, and fixture-level automation without a networked system. These solutions are well-suited for warehouses, stockrooms, back-of-house areas, corridors, utility spaces, and retrofit projects where simplicity and speed matter.

Keilton-Autani Controls expand that capability into Bluetooth mesh networked lighting controls for commercial environments that need greater flexibility. The lineup includes smart Bluetooth high bay and low bay sensors, ceiling occupancy sensors, wall switches, line-voltage Bluetooth fixture controllers, integrated Bluetooth adapters, and microwave sensing options. These devices are designed to support centralized control, scheduling, energy management, and integration with modern LED lighting systems.

For larger projects, the Autani platform extends the system beyond basic lighting control into broader building intelligence. This gives facility teams a path toward centralized monitoring, analytics, automation, and integration with other building systems as project needs grow.

The result is a controls strategy that can scale with the facility. A small retrofit may only need standalone sensor control. A larger commercial facility may require networked lighting controls with grouping, schedules, scenes, and energy reporting. A campus or multi-building property may need the added intelligence of a building-management platform.

Built for Distribution, Specification, and Field Installation

Westgate's goal with the Keilton-Autani partnership is to simplify controls adoption for the people responsible for getting projects completed.

For distributors, the expanded lineup creates a stronger controls conversation around Westgate fixtures. For contractors, it reduces the complexity of sourcing lighting and controls separately. For specifiers, it provides a more complete controls path that can support code compliance, energy management, and long-term building flexibility.

Instead of treating controls as a separate package that gets added late in the project, Westgate can now support a more complete solution from the beginning. That includes fixture selection, control strategy, product matching, project quoting, and lighting design assistance through Westgate's in-house team.

"Contractors and distributors do not want controls to slow the project down," Isaac Hadjyan added. "They want a solution that makes sense, installs cleanly, and has support behind it. Our expanded controls offering is designed around that reality. Whether the job calls for a simple sensor, a Bluetooth mesh system, or a path into building automation, Westgate can help connect the right product to the right application."

A Broader Control Solution Portfolio

While Keilton-Autani is the central platform for Westgate's networked controls expansion, the company's broader Control Solution category also includes additional control options for different applications and project budgets.

Homewell GEBC Controls provide another Bluetooth-based control option for commercial and architectural environments, with products such as wireless dimmer wall switches, fixture controllers, microwave sensors, PIR sensors, extender nodes, and energy monitoring accessories. These products give customers another practical solution for room, zone, and fixture-level control.

Westgate Controls include smart dimming modules, wall switches, and motion sensors for straightforward retrofits and value-engineered projects. The category also includes photocells for dusk-to-dawn operation and emergency battery backup solutions for code and life-safety applications.

Together, the expanded portfolio allows Westgate to support a wider range of project needs, from basic switching and sensing to networked lighting controls and building-wide automation.
