Almont Group Celebrates 31 Years as a Trusted Partner to North America’s Lighting Industry

For 31 years, Almont Group has supported North America’s lighting manufacturers with precision metal and plastic components, delivering consistent quality, reliable lead times, and hands-on manufacturing oversight. Founded in 1994, the family-owned, U.S.-based supplier has built long-term partnerships across architectural and commercial lighting markets.

Almont remains guided by the same principles that shaped its early success: precision manufacturing, clear communication, and long-term partnership. The company combines U.S.-based leadership with embedded manufacturing teams in China, supported by facilities in India and Vietnam, giving customers direct access to controlled, in-house production.

Almont manufactures a broad range of custom components, including housings, brackets, driver enclosures, heat sinks, reflectors, sheet-metal frames, trims, endcaps, and other precision metal and plastic parts. All are produced under Almont’s direct oversight to ensure consistency, performance, and repeatability.

The company manages every stage internally: tooling, die-casting, CNC machining, sheet-metal fabrication, plastic injection molding, finishing, assembly, and on-site quality control. This end-to-end control ensures accountability and precise alignment with customer designs and timelines.

“Thirty-one years means we’ve seen every supply-chain challenge the lighting industry can throw at us,” said Bernard Klein, CEO of Almont Group. “Our customers trust us because we control the process end-to-end. The company was built on the idea that craftsmanship and clear communication should be the standard, not the exception. We treat every component we ship as a reflection of our own brand.”

Amid global supply-chain volatility, Almont remains a stabilizing force, reinvesting in facilities, adding advanced machinery, and strengthening its in-house tool shop, where its veteran toolmakers are regarded among the best in the industry. The company also implements sustainable practices to reduce waste, optimize material efficiency, and deliver long-term value.

“To stay competitive, lighting manufacturers need stability,” said David Yadgar, Director of Business Development. “That comes from a partner who stays engaged, understands the intent behind each design, and oversees every step. When we control the process, we deliver exactly what our customers expect.”

Entering its fourth decade, Almont continues to strengthen U.S.-based leadership and Asia-based execution teams to support lighting designers, engineers, and supply-chain leaders across North America.
