LMPG Announces Leadership Transition at Sternberg Lighting

Montreal, QC — Thursday, October 9, 2025 — LMPG Inc., a leading global provider of specification-grade lighting solutions, today announced a leadership transition at its subsidiary, Sternberg Lighting, following the departure of John Geagan, who will be taking on a new leadership role at a New York City lighting agency.

As part of this transition, LMPG has announced the promotion of several experienced Sternberg team members to key leadership positions, reinforcing the brand’s stability and long-term vision:

• Mike Renner, currently Vice President of Sales & Marketing, will assume the role of Vice President and General Manager. Renner has been with Sternberg for five years and brings deep operational and market experience to his expanded responsibilities.
• Mike Rivera, who has served as Director of Inside Sales for 5 years, has been promoted to Senior Director of Sales, overseeing all Sternberg sales activities across regions. Rivera’s deep industry relationships and customer focus will continue to strengthen Sternberg’s market presence.

• Derek Emeson, a Product Manager with 18 years at Sternberg, will take on the role of Director of Marketing and Product Management. Derek’s extensive experience—including leading the company’s showroom renovation and previous sales leadership roles—positions him well to drive product innovation and marketing strategy.
