Students get hands-on experience in the photometric lab |
The University of Colorado Boulder is pleased to announce the launch of the CU Boulder Architectural Lighting Certificate program this fall. This program offers a comprehensive two-semester online course sequence designed to enhance understanding and proficiency in lighting. The course sequence begins in September and concludes in April, followed by a summer capstone course. The capstone includes a week of hands-on practical experience with lighting measurements, equipment, and software tools during an on-campus intensive in Boulder.
Prospective students can find further details and access the no-cost application on the program's website.
Additionally, Architectural Lighting Certificate students may apply for a limited number of Student Financial Awards, funded by industry partners and supporting individuals. These awards, valued at $1500 per course, are intended to broaden the voices contributing to the future of the lighting industry. Preference will be given to applicants with unique learning, career, and life experiences who may find the program costs burdensome.
