LIGHT Discontinues Merger with Kore Controls, Launches New Website to Reintroduce LIGHT to the Market

Southern California – LIGHT, a premier lighting and controls agency with over 36+ year history of excellence in the Southern California market, has announced that it will no longer pursue its previously planned merger with Kore Controls. After careful consideration, Jeff Skippon (Principal of LIGHT) and Jason Schanta (Principal of LIGHT) have decided to discontinue the merging of the companies.

“This was a difficult decision to make; we wish the Kore Controls team the best in their future endeavors,” said Skippon and Schanta.

LIGHT remains committed to its legacy of being a trusted resource for manufacturers, clients, and customers. Jeff Skippon adds, “We will continue to pursue our plan for diversification and growth while adhering to our fundamental principles.”

As part of this renewed focus, LIGHT has launched a new website, www.lightsocal.com, that truly reflects their passion for bringing life to every project. The website showcases completed projects by their manufacturers. Expanded features soon to be launched will include project case studies, product spotlights, educational events, industry events, and services that offer inspiration and a clear vision of what’s possible. In addition, LIGHT’s comprehensive line card is now easily accessible, featuring a wide range of fixtures and control categories.

“We want to thank each of our manufacturers, clients, and customers for their continued support in the SoCal market. We look forward to what is in store for LIGHT in the next phase of the evolution of our company,” says Schanta.
