Carla Bukalski

As 2024 unfolds, Focal Point, a brand of Legrand, is pleased to announce a new team member: Carla Bukalski, MBA, PE, LC, LEED AP joined the organization as Product Management Marketing Director. Well known in the lighting industry, Bukalski brings with her a unique skillset that includes electrical engineering, lighting design, sales, and marketing. In addition to her experience with lighting design firms and lighting manufacturers, she has, for many years, brought value to the industry through her involvement with the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) and the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD). 

In her role at Focal Point, Bukalski will help identify market needs and opportunities and translate them into solutions that will advance lighting and Focal Point’s portfolio. She will also support the sales and marketing teams by providing education to and seeking feedback from the lighting design community.

Carla is critical to delivering this vision,” she adds. 

Bukalski will work closely with internal product, design, and engineering teams to bring value to the lighting industry with solutions that enhance the human experience in the built environment. 

Under the leadership of Jimalee Beno, President, Focal Point has welcomed several individuals with vast industry knowledge and experience in the recent past, including Daniel Kohnen, Director of Architectural Systems, as well as Davis, and now Bukalski.

Carla earned a BS in Architectural Engineering from the University of Kansas and an MBA from Xavier University, holds a Professional Engineering license, is Lighting Certified by the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions (NCQLP), and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
