Magnitude Introduces the CFLEX Compact Programmable Constant Current 0-10V Dimmable LED Driver

Ideal for driver replacement and OEM applications, the affordably-priced CFLEX saves time, reduces inventory costs and can be programmed with an optional stand-alone controller.

Tustin, CA — Magnitude Lighting, manufacturer of LED drivers and transformers, has added another power solution to their programmable LED driver series. The CFLEX Compact is a constant current 0-10V dimmable driver that is available pre-programmed for high volume installations or can be customized with the optional stand-alone programming tool that does not require a PC or cellphone interface.

“The CFLEX is a value version of our top-of the-line AFLEX wireless programmable,” notes Walter Simson, Magnitude’s President & CEO. “This answers the need for stock reduction strategies, especially for those who need quick replacement drivers. With our programmable drivers, there’s no need to order long-lead original equipment replacements.”

Magnitude’s popular AFLEX LED driver includes wireless NFC (near field communication), while CFLEX uses a 2-wire programmer that can be purchased separately. Because the programmer does not require a PC, it can be used out in the field with a simple USB adaptor. Suitable for almost any installation application, the CFLEX is dimmable down to 1% with dim-to-off functionality​. Other features include a wide voltage/current input range and a Class P replacement-ready rating. 

“We engineered some great features of the AFLEX into the CFLEX Compact but didn’t add the higher-end features to keep the price point very competitive,” says Chris Sulek, Magnitude’s Director of Product Management. “The CFLEX allows more electricians and installers to experience the benefits of a programmable LED driver.”

The Magnitude CFLEX Compact programmable LED driver is sold through the company’s network of lighting agencies and distributors and includes a five-year warranty. A CFLEX Linear version will be announced soon.
