Forman & Associates Announces Expansion to its Specification Sales Team

LOS ANGELES -- Forman & Associates, a leading Southern-California lighting agency, is excited to announce the addition of two experienced specification sales professionals to its team:

Tom Wong, Specification Sales
We are pleased to announce that Tom Wong has joined our specification sales team. Tom brings to Forman and Associates many years of experience in Lighting, Design, Project Management and Construction. He has been involved with over 10 million square feet of retail development, working with architects, engineers, lighting designers, signage companies and site development groups. His knowledge of construction and controls, assists designers with design, details, and overall planning. He enjoys helping his clients solve problems, and design details.

Previously Tom has worked with Francis Krahe & Associates, Total Lighting Concepts, Louis Poulsen, CSL Lighting, IM Pei & Partners, Melvin Simon & Associates, CenterCal Properties, and The Irvine Company.

As President of Illuminating Engineering Society’s Orange County Section, he has led the organization through the current pandemic with many successful programs—such as the recent “Sold Out” Exterior Lighting Expo, Fundamentals of Lighting Classes, Speaker engagements on Germicidal UV lighting, Biophilic Lighting (with a renowned scientist from Scripps, Bios, and many more.

Jon Hyrkas, Specification Sales
We are pleased to welcome Jon Hyrkas to our specification sales team as an Entertainment specialist. Jon will be working with a wide range of clients with a focus on our entertainment product lines including Strand Lighting, Vari-Lite and Color Kinetics.

Jon has been working in the entertainment lighting field for over 20 years as a designer, salesman, and Technical Director. He has been on staff at several local colleges, theaters, and school districts. More recently he has been working as a sales professional both as a dealer in Orange County as well as a regional sales manager for a lighting manufacturer. When Jon is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and two dogs. He is thrilled to be the newest member of The Forman and Associates team.
