As of January 2022, 186 becomes a part of the HLB team.

 

HLB Lighting Design is excited to announce that 186 Lighting Design Group of Denver, CO has joined the firm. This unification creates substantial value for both firms, representing a strategic growth opportunity for HLB and providing expanded company infrastructure and market sector development for 186. The merger is a pivotal milestone in HLB’s ongoing mission to enhance the lives of millions of people worldwide through the power of light.

The 186 team specializes in high-end residential lighting design, bringing this market sector to the forefront for the first time in HLB’s 53 years of business. 186 has completed projects across the continent in destinations such as Aspen, Vail,

St. Lucia, Jackson Hole, and Maui. Gregg Mackell, Principal at 186, joins HLB with over 28 years of experience and over a thousand projects on his resume. “The integration of 186 Lighting Design Group into HLB feels like a natural fit. Our design philosophies mesh well and the opportunity to join a world-class design team will allow us to expand with increased quality and unlimited creativity,” said Gregg.
