With today’s announcements, Bell & McCoy’s footprint now extends from the Atlantic Coast to the Arizona-California border

SURPRISE, ARIZONA –  On the same day FRM, which merged with Bell & McCoy Companies three months ago, announced significant acquisitions and new partnerships in the Southeast United States, Bell & McCoy is making waves in the Southwest.

In a strategic move that marks a significant expansion of its operational footprint, Texas-based Bell & McCoy has announced the acquisition of Wild West Lighting, a lighting agency based in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The integration of Wild West Lighting into Bell & McCoy's portfolio not only expands the company's reach into the Southwest, a few years after entering New Mexico, but also strengthens its position in a competitive market.

Wild West Lighting, now rebranded as Bell & McCoy Lighting and Controls of Arizona, will serve the entire state. This move is particularly notable as Wild West Lighting, an independent entity until now, had partnerships with approximately 90 lighting brands including Cree Lighting, Williams and Crestron. While some of the agency's manufacturer partnerships may have shifted in the lead-up to the acquisition, Bell & McCoy's takeover represents a new chapter for the agency and its partners.

Sam Kramer, the founder of Wild West Lighting, will remain involved as a consultant, ensuring a smooth handover of the company he built from the ground up since 1994. In a nod to the future, Dylan Kramer, Sam's son, has been appointed General Manager of the newly formed entity. Dylan, along with Joe Cobler, Roseanne Schultz, John Phalen, Tammy Yedor, and Rich Weidman, forms the core team that aims to steer Bell & McCoy Lighting and Controls of Arizona toward new horizons.

Rob Duncan, Executive Vice-President of Bell & McCoy Companies, praised the foundation laid by Sam Kramer "We look forward to building on that legacy and providing our manufacturers a top tier path to the Arizona market."

This acquisition not only broadens Bell & McCoy's geographical coverage but also signals continued consolidation within the industry. Bell & McCoy, combined with FRM, is now poised to offer lighting and controls solutions across much of the Southern United States, from the Carolinas to Florida and now extending west to the Arizona-California border.
