LightFair 2023: Updates from the Floor
Here we go…after two days of conferences, the exhibit hall opens its doors
Tuesday marks the start of the three-day trade show segment of LightFair 2023, following the commencement of conferences and information sessions on Sunday and Monday.
Although the conference sessions haven't been packed to the brim, the feedback from attendees has been positive, indicating high levels of satisfaction with the quality of the sessions and the expertise of the instructors.
Thus far, no major, widespread issues have disrupted booth setup, leading to a smooth and efficient event preparation process for the 320+ exhibitors. The organizers have noted a significant increase in registrations in the days leading up to the event, a pace higher than experienced in previous years. By Monday afternoon, the number of registered attendees had surpassed 9700, up from 9100 only a few days before.
The Immersive Lighting Installations are drawing significant attention. These installations, collaborations between architectural lighting design firms and manufacturers, promise unique designs and applications. Attendees can find these seven installations throughout the Jacob Javits Convention Center.
The trade show floor is set to open at 10am on Tuesday. The inside.lighting team plans to conduct multiple interviews with executives and visit booths during the event, with more updates and video content to be shared Wednesday through Friday of this week.
