1. "Lutron Scolded by Judge..." - Bloomberg
A longstanding patent dispute relating to Lutron's Palladiom Shading System leads to a 23-page opinion by a federal judge that is not particularly sympathetic to the worldwide leader in lighting controls.
2. Lutron Price Increase
A global price increase averaging 8% will take effect on July 10.
3. Bellissimo! Sonepar Acquires $25 million Italian Distributor
Sonepar Italia and Majorano have officially signed an agreement by which Majorano's electrical material distribution activities will be transferred to Sonepar Italia.
4. NYPD Green
The New York Power Authority partnered with New York City to announce the installation of energy-efficient LED lighting at nearly 100 New York City Police Department precinct locations across all five boroughs.
