New Dates for the 2020 Upper Midwest Electrical EXPO
We’re thrilled to announce NEW DATES for the 2020 Upper Midwest Electrical EXPO: December 9-10, 2020 at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Make your plans to join us and update your calendar!
Thank you for your patience as we navigated options to reschedule our 2020 Upper Midwest Electrical EXPO. Following CDC guidelines and government warnings, we sense the December 9-10, 2020 date is the best solution moving forward.
- For Attendees: NO ACTION is required. We urge you to mark the dates on your calendar and make plans toattend. If you have already registered, we will mail you your personalized name badge on December 1. If youhave not yet registered, you can register anytime this summer. If you need lodging, we have secured two hotelsclose to the convention center (Millennium Hotel and Hilton Garden Inn) that can accommodate lodging needs.
- For Exhibitors: NO ACTION is required. Your exhibit space(s) and any orders placed with the service contractor or registration lead retrieval are secure and will automatically transfer to the December 9-10, 2020 event dates. If you need lodging, we have secured two hotels close to the convention center (Millennium Hotel and Hilton Garden Inn) that can accommodate lodging needs. Detailed information will be sent to exhibitors soon.
- For Sponsors: NO ACTION is required. Your sponsorship will benefit greatly with additional months of industry promotion and marketing as we prepare for your participation.
- For Breakfast Ticket Purchasers: NO ACTION is required. Your breakfast ticket purchase will automatically transfer over to the December 10 breakfast. We are waiting to hear from our keynote speaker on availability. Once this is clarified, we will convey the news and act as needed.

December 9-10, 2020 EXPO dates allow for leveraging several promising elements, including: avoiding a busy surge in business projected for summer/fall 2020; increased attendance due to field personnel availability during a slower time; avoiding major industry event conflicts; jump-starting 2021 construction projects; higher demand for distributor sponsored customer buses; a celebratory atmosphere after an unprecedented 2020; and lastly – an optimistic, allindustry celebration midway through a festive Holiday Season. December dates will be great for the EXPO!
