Illuminations Announces Strategic Transformation to Accelerate Long-Term Growth

 

Illuminations, Inc. today announced a strategic transformation that positions the company for its next phase of growth as a leading provider of lighting, controls, shading, and acoustic solutions throughout the New York City Metro, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Delaware, and Eastern Pennsylvania markets.

For more than 38 years, Illuminations has built its reputation on exceptional customer service, technical expertise, and strong manufacturer partnerships. As the lighting industry continues to evolve, the company is taking proactive steps to sharpen its focus around the partnerships, technologies, and markets that present the greatest opportunities for long-term growth. Success is no longer measured by the number of manufacturers an agency represents, but by the strength of its partnerships and the value it creates for customers.

Together with Acuity Brands and our strategic manufacturing partners, Illuminations is intentionally aligning its organization around manufacturers that share its long-term vision, values, and commitment to the markets it serves. This focused strategy enables the company to better align its people, resources, and investments behind specification sales, controls, applications engineering, distributor and contractor relationships, and customer support.

A key component of this initiative is the expansion of the company's leadership team through the appointment of eleven Associate Principals across its entire footprint. These individuals have demonstrated exceptional leadership, market expertise, and commitment to the company's success and will play an instrumental role in shaping the future direction of the organization.

  • Brad May – Distributor and Contractor Sales, Philadelphia Metro
  • Ho-San Chang – Specification Sales, North Jersey; Marketing & Business Development
  • Paul Bosco – Distributor and Contractor Sales, North Jersey
  • George Miller – Sales Operations & Distributor Sales, NYC Metro
  • Ted des Enfants – Specification Sales, NYC Metro
  • Tom Fritz – Distributor & Contractor Sales, NYC Metro

The company's executive leadership remains firmly in place, providing continuity and strategic direction as Illuminations enters its next phase of growth. Chris McQuillan will continue to serve as President, with Andrew Lyngarkos serving as Vice President, while George Lyngarkos and Barbara Lyngarkos will continue in their roles as Chair and Vice Chair of the Board, respectively. Together, this leadership team brings decades of industry experience and a shared commitment to strengthening manufacturer partnerships, supporting customers, and driving long-term success across every market the company serves.
