EiKO Global Appoints Yavor Kolarov as President & CRO
Leadership Change at EiKO sees Acuity and OSRAM veteran take the helm
EiKO Global has announced the appointment of Yavor Kolarov as its new President and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Kolarov, a veteran in the lighting industry, brings experience from his previous roles at major companies, including Osram and Acuity Brands. His journey in the lighting sector has seen him occupy various senior leadership positions, such as Head of Product Management and Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Osram, and Vice President of OEM Sales at Acuity.
Kolarov joined EiKO in June 2024, following his departure from Acuity, where he led the IOTA Emergency Lighting Component business. Just two months after joining EiKO as CRO, Kolarov has now assumed the additional responsibility of President, succeeding Matt Johnson, who had held the role since May 2023.
EiKO is owned by Inverness Graham, a private equity firm located in Wayne, Pennsylvania, a Philadelphia suburb. EiKO's product line is economically focused, catering to distributors and contractors with a range of fixtures, LED lamps, traditional lamps, sensors, controls, and emergency lighting solutions.
Kolarov’s appointment is part of EiKO’s broader strategy to enhance its position in the lighting industry. With a technical background, including a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Kolarov is expected to lead EiKO with a focus on quality, engineering excellence, and product innovation. He has expressed his commitment to elevating customer focus within the company, emphasizing EiKO’s flexibility in tailoring solutions to meet the specific needs of its clients.
In addition to Yavor's appointment, EiKO's leadership team includes individuals with domain and industry experience such as Andy Hicks, Chief Supply Chain Officer; Kendra Wright, Chief Financial Officer; Ilona Patton, Managing Director of EiKO Europe; Dave Schenk, VP Sales – US; Steve Reeves VP Business Development; Greg Cober, VP Sales – Canada; and Kamna Mirchandani, Marketing Director.
As EiKO moves forward under Kolarov’s leadership, the company is expected to focus on enhancing its product portfolio and expanding its presence in key markets.
