Lance Hollner Named President & CEO of MaxLite
New leader brings factory and agent executive experience to drive company growth
MaxLite, a New Jersey based maker of LED lighting and controls products, has appointed Lance Hollner as its new President and CEO.
Hollner, a veteran in the lighting industry, brings over 20 years of experience to MaxLite. He has held various roles in general management, sales leadership, and product management at companies such as Acuity Brands, Lutron, Encelium Technologies, and Avi-on Controls.
Before joining MaxLite, Hollner was Executive Vice President at Diversified Group, a prominent manufacturer’s representative firm serving Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, and New York City. In that role, he expanded the agent’s territory into New Jersey and New York City and built a controls and services team. Hollner has experience in turnkey renovation lighting and EV infrastructure sales and has worked with international suppliers and contract manufacturers. He holds an engineering degree from Georgia Tech and will work out of MaxLite’s headquarters in New Jersey.
Hollner inherits the leadership role from Spencer Bolgard, who served as CEO and President since January 1, 2020. Previously Bolgard had held the position of President and Chief Operating Officer starting in December 2018. Yon Sung, Maxlite’s Chairman of the Board expressed enthusiasm about Hollner’s new appointment and also expressed gratitude towards Bollgard’s service stating in part, “I also thank our outgoing CEO, Spencer Bolgard, for his contributions to the company, especially on key initiatives during his tenure.”
