Legrand Lighting Brands Join LightFair 2023 Lineup
Important architectural brands elevate LightFair with exhibit and lounge experience
LightFair 2023 kicks off next month in New York City and this year the event will see the return of some very important specification brands that over the past decade have often been on the LightFair sidelines.
The LightFair exhibitor list has recently been bolstered by the involvement of five architectural lighting brands from the Legrand Lighting Sector: Finelite, Focal Point, Kenall, OCL and Pinnacle Architectural Lighting. Legrand’s lighting controls brands Wattstopper and Encelium are part of the company’s Building Controls Systems division and are not cited as LightFair exhibitors.
The five brands will encompass 1600 square feet of exhibit space in the Design Pavilion with product displays built on the perimeter. The centerpiece of the space will be a hospitality concept called the Plug ‘n Pour Lounge which will provide attendees with refreshments, including adult beverages at certain times. The lounge will feature coffee service in the morning and a beer and wine bar during happy hour, as well as charging stations for electronic devices throughout the day.
“The five independent companies of the Legrand Lighting Sector are looking forward to participating in LightFair 2023. Legrand benefits from privileged relationship with the IALD and the IES and wants to demonstrate our support to their mission and to the work of their members. We are committed to continuously innovating while focusing on the needs of the lighting industry and we use the unique platform offered by LightFair to showcase our latest products and services, and to engage in meaningful discussions with lighting practitioners and industry colleagues.”
– Tom Lowery, President
Legrand Lighting Sector
The inclusion of these brands is notable as the Legrand brands are often considered to be among the more important specification lighting brands in North America. This, in turn, may help draw more lighting designers, engineers and architects to the event.
Legrand’s commitment to participate may also be perceived as a unified endorsement of Lightfair by the five Legrand Lighting Sector brands. Each of the companies have an inconsistent history of exhibiting at LightFair. None of them exhibited at the 2021 or 2022 events, and we believe that OCL was the most recent of the Legrand Lighting Sector brands to exhibit at a LightFair, doing so in Philadelphia in 2019.
