Hossley Combines Forces with Memphis Agent
Hossley Lighting & Power Solutions (HLPS) has made a number of moves in recent months that have bolstered its coverage throughout the South Central U.S.
Today HLPS announced that it will “combine forces” with Spectrum Lighting + Controls in the Memphis market. Spectrum Lighting + Controls represents numerous lighting manufacturers including Hubbell Lighting, Crestron, Lumenwerx and Kenall. HLPS represents Hubbell Lighting in the majority of its footprint, so this move will now have the agency representing Hubbell Lighting in Western Tennessee.
The relationship between HLPS and Spectrum Lighting + Controls is a strategic partnership. This is not a business merger or an acquisition. The companies will go to market in Western Tennessee using the Hossley Lighting & Power Solutions name. Before this agreement, HLPS represented mainly electrical supply lines including Eaton Power Quality and Energy Focus in the Western Tennessee market.
This news follows the other somewhat recent HLPS moves:
- July 2020: Dallas-based Hossley Lighting and Arkansas-based Lighting & Power Solutions announce a merger that has the new HLPS covering six states with both lighting lines and electrical supply lines.
- April 2021: HLPS is appointed the Hubbell Lighting agent in Oklahoma.
