P.E. Firm Acquires Lighting Analysts
Software company that produces AGi32 and ElumTools joins a suite of companies that provide solutions to manufacturing and construction professionals.
Lighting Analysts, Inc. a global leader in illumination engineering calculation software has been acquired by a private equity firm and is now part of newly-formed Revalize. AGi32 and ElumTools are among Lighting Analysts' popular software tools that enable lighting and design professionals to optimize the application of lighting products in various indoor and outdoor environments.
- AGi32 provides numeric and rendered solutions for almost any lighting application, interior or exterior, including roadway, sports and daylighting.
- ElumTools® is the first and only fully integrated lighting calculation add-in for Autodesk® Revit®.
The formation of Revalize was orchestrated by Boston-based private equity firm TA Associates. Revalize is a grouping of software platforms that provide manufacturers, distributors, dealers and agents with tools that, among other things, enable sellers of configurable products to apply, quote and sell engineered products. Some of the other Software Platforms in the Revalize family include:
- Configure One - Software Solutions for manufacturers that sell configurable products
- FPX - Cloud based tools for manufacturers and distributors that quote and sell complex engineered products
- Axonom - Software platform that enables 3D visualization of configurable made-to-order products
According to Revalize CEO, Jim Contardi, "the new company is the only global, at-scale provider of sector-specific manufacturing software solutions." Revalize is inheriting a global customer base of more than 8,000 manufacturers, according to its website.
This news brings a new combined company that will be headquartered in Jacksonville, FL and provide global solutions and systems to help customers grow their businesses. The Lighting Analysts business is expected to stay in its long-time home in the Denver, CO metro area.
