ABOUT US
An innovative lighting company with over 60 years of experience in the lighting industry, Nordeon was founded in October 2012 with the acquisition of the then-Philips professional luminaire manufacturing and development site in Springe, Germany. In January 2021, Nordeon joined Experience Brands (www.experiencebrandsusa.com), a lighting group of three agile, independent operating brands that each fulfill a specific segment of the lighting industry.
Nordeon USA now offers a complete line of indoor and outdoor commercial lighting, developed in Germany and made or assembled in the USA. Our outdoor line brings the same German engineering our customers rely on indoors to parking areas, building exteriors, and site lighting, with BAA/BABAA-compliant options available for government and public projects.
Our products are distributed from our manufacturing facility in South Carolina, where we maintain a large inventory to meet US standards and lead times. Our facility staff is experienced in the domestic market and ready to assist in any way, and independent sales representatives are located in local markets to serve our customers in the best way possible.
The Nordeon facility in Springe, Germany is one of Europe's largest manufacturing sites of professional LED-based luminaires for retail, industry, and outdoor markets. The site aims to further strengthen and automate the manufacturing base, expand the development and engineering team, develop and manufacture new Nordeon products, and further develop Nordeon's commercial organization.
