We are growing our presence across the Southeast, and we are looking for a sales leader who knows the region, knows the channel, and is excited to build something meaningful in their territory.
About the Role
As Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast, you will own your territory and drive sales growth across multiple channels. You will be the face of our brand in the region, building and deepening relationships with specifiers, showrooms, distributors, and independent sales agents. This is a high-autonomy role for someone who loves being in the field, building trust face to face, and turning relationships into results.
What You Will Do
- Establish sales objectives and develop a territory sales plan with measured goals that grows revenue across specifiers, showrooms, and distributors.
- Manage and support independent sales agents within the territory, ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with key accounts and decision makers throughout the region.
- Call on lighting specifiers and design professionals to drive product specifications on projects.
- Grow distributor and showroom partnerships through training, product knowledge, and regular engagement.
- Identify new business opportunities and convert them into long-term accounts.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings throughout the territory.
- Monitor competitive trends and provide market feedback to internal teams on product, pricing, and competitive activity.
- Manage your pipeline, forecast accurately, and consistently deliver against sales targets.
What You Bring
- 5–7 years of proven success in outside sales or sales management, ideally within lighting, electrical, or a related building products industry.
- Existing relationships with specifiers, distributors, showrooms, or agents in the region are a strong asset.
- A self-starter mindset with the discipline to manage your own territory and schedule.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical data, features, and benefits.
- Results-oriented with strong business acumen and a track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Willingness to travel 50–70% of the time within the region.
