Job Description:
We are seeking a Territory Manager to support and grow our sales for our New England client base.
As Territory Manager for New England, you will drive sales growth within your assigned region by developing and managing relationships with agency and distributor partners. You will identify new business opportunities, support existing accounts, and promote MaxLite’s energy-efficient lighting solutions. Working cross-functionally with internal teams, you will help build project pipelines, strengthen customer partnerships, and contribute directly to regional revenue performance.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support relationship management with distributors, independent reps, contractors, ESCOs, LMCs, and corporate accounts within the assigned region.
- Assist agency and sales representative partners with product training coordination, pricing requests, quoting support, and customer follow-up.
- Help identify new business opportunities and support the tracking of regional project pipelines.
- Contribute to regional sales efforts by assisting with promotions, product rollouts, rebate programs, and customer service initiatives.
- Gather market and competitor information and provide updates to the VP, C&I Sales East as needed.
- Support regional sales activities including trade shows, reporting, travel coordination, and expense tracking.
- Perform all other duties as assigned with minimal supervision
What We Look For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
- 3+ years of progressive sales/ account management experience in the lighting industry or related field with a demonstrated track record of results
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand product specifications and processes
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, analyze challenges, and drive effective solutions
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, PowerBi, with minimal learning curve
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Work Environment & Role Demands:
- This is a remote position required to travel at least 80% of the time
- Must be comfortable with various means of transportation: by plane, train, car, etc.
- Must be able to walk, talk, sit, stand, bend, listen, type, read
- Must be able to push, pull, lift up to 15 pounds on occasion
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
