Regional Sales Representative

Rayhil

Regional Sales Representative
Remote

Rayhil is a rapidly expanding architectural lighting manufacturer with a growing national footprint. With an established network of independent sales agencies already in place, we’re seeking a field-based sales professional to lead, manage, and activate those agencies—driving specification, strengthening accountability, and translating relationships into sustained revenue growth.

This position is designed for someone who understands that agency performance doesn’t manage itself and that consistent presence, coaching, and follow-up are what turn coverage into results.

Core Responsibilities

Agency Leadership & Territory Ownership

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned rep agencies, setting expectations, priorities, and performance standards
  • Conduct regular in-person agency visits, joint sales calls, and strategy reviews
  • Equip agencies with product knowledge, sales tools, and tactical guidance to improve close rates and specification depth
  • Identify underperforming areas, agency gaps, or coverage inefficiencies and recommend corrective action
  • Support onboarding and ramp-up of new agencies or major accounts within the territory

Market Development & Sales Enablement

  • Drive specification through direct engagement with architects, designers, engineers, and distributors
  • Deliver product trainings, technical presentations, and CEU programs for agency teams and clients
  • Represent Rayhil at regional and national trade shows, industry events, and professional lighting organizations
  • Participate in project meetings, site visits, and walkthroughs to support active opportunities

Strategic Feedback & Execution

  • Provide leadership with real-time market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback
  • Collaborate internally to refine territory strategy, sales priorities, and product positioning
  • Maintain disciplined follow-up and reporting to ensure agency activity aligns with company goals
  • Travel extensively within assigned regions to maintain consistent field presence

Ideal Candidate Profile

You’re comfortable holding agencies accountable while also being a trusted partner and resource.

You bring:

  • Demonstrated experience managing or working through independent sales agencies
  • Confidence navigating both technical lighting discussions and relationship-driven sales conversations
  • Strong organizational skills and a data-informed approach to territory management
  • A self-directed mindset with high standards for execution and follow-through
  • Background in architectural lighting, design-build, or B2B capital equipment strongly preferred

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary
  • Uncapped, performance-based commission structure
  • Benefits package including paid time off, sick leave, travel support, and healthcare reimbursement

*This Position will require heavy travel
