As lighting distributors and manufacturer sales representatives, we manage all aspects of hospitality lighting projects. Whether it's sourcing architectural lighting, decorative fixtures, or selecting the right light bulbs, we bring lighting projects to life.

We are a small, driven team, working in a remote office environment. We maintain an 8am-5pm MST schedule, expecting employees to adapt to these active hours regardless of time zone. Employees are expected to work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM MST. Please note that flexible hours are not available, and adherence to this schedule is required.

 

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Inside Sales Representative that has been in the lighting distributor industry with 7+ years of experience or more to join our growing team. This role requires exemplary customer service, technical lighting knowledge and exceptional management skills. Time management and managing projects from the estimating stages to delivery is key. Expert communication skills between our customers and manufacturers as well as our lighting designers, purchasing team and production is a must.

 

Key Accountabilities Include:
  • Providing sales support to our outside sales team and vendors & manufactures including technical knowledge and support, answering questions about lead times and stock, and being the key contact for executing jobs smoothly.
  • Act as liaison between the outside sales to ensure projects are well-managed throughout the entire process.
  • Order management and order entry and order follow-up.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail and ensure the IMPACTenergy custom dashboard (CRM) is updated daily, reflecting the most current project statuses, order details, and relevant information.
  • Process sales orders, returns, exchanges, and warranties.
  • Monitor and track shipments, confirm deliveries, and proactively resolve delivery issues or delays.
  • Coordinate with job sites to ensure delivery timing aligns with construction schedules.
  • Quoting and estimating jobs intelligently to our customers and communicating expertise on the subject when necessary.
  • Develop accurate and timely lighting quotations based on client requirements, project specifications, and drawings.
  • Ensure that all necessary components, including pricing, lead times, and technical specifications, are accurately represented.
  • Lighting Specification to Sales Order Entry to manage sample requests.
  • Assist with transitioning successful quotations into orders, ensuring all details are captured correctly and communicated effectively to the operations and shipping teams.

  • Do you consistently deliver 5-star customer service, especially to clients in the hospitality industry?
  • Have you independently managed $5 million or more in annual sales, with 25–30 active projects at any given time in the lighting industry?
  • Are you extremely detail-oriented and skilled in Order Management and Documentation across multiple open projects?
  • Do you excel in a small company setting and enjoy working directly with ownership in a highly collaborative environment?

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Seven years or more in the commercial lighting industry.
  • Background in project management or hospitality procurement is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-intensity, high-urgency environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Individual must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and be a team player.
  • Expertise with Outlook, Word, Excel, the Internet.
  • Experience in reviewing quotes, purchase orders and shop drawings.
  • Strong people skills in person, on the phone and via email etiquette.
  • College degree required.

 

Compensation:

Pay Range: $85,280to $116,480, depending on qualifications and experience.

Competitive compensation package including PTO, Company-paid Health Insurance options, and a 401(k).

Remote work with adherence to office hours of 8am–5pm MST.
