About the Role
Juniper, a leader in innovative lighting technology, design, and manufacturing, is seeking an accomplished Sales Director to spearhead our growth strategy and expand our footprint in the architectural lighting market. Based in New York, this pivotal role will lead all aspects of our sales organization, shape its direction, and deliver on ambitious revenue goals.
As Sales Director, you will develop strategic plans, build lasting partnerships, optimize operations, and inspire a growing team of talented professionals. You’ll work closely with executive leadership and have a direct impact on the company's success and evolution.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 1– to 3-year sales strategy aligned with the company's growth and market expansion objectives.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional sales team, including estimators, sales representatives, application engineers, and showroom staff.
- Strengthen relationships with architecture and design (A&D) firms and expand Juniper’s market influence.
- Oversee and optimize sales operations, including full CRM ownership, sales process development, and data accuracy.
- Manage the Distributor Program, including partner tiers, pricing, and performance reviews.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline with effective workflows to drive conversions and increase revenue.
- Direct showroom operations and external sales initiatives, such as client engagement and relationship-building efforts.
- Collaborate with Marketing to align brand and lead generation strategies with sales objectives.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Juniper remains a category leader.
- Promote a high-performance, client-focused, and consultative sales culture that fosters a collaborative environment.
- Report monthly on sales performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) to the President and Executive Team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of sales leadership experience, preferably within the Architecture & Design or Lighting industries.
- Strong background in sales operations and CRM system management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven consultative sales approach with a client-first mindset.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships across the A&D community.
- Strategic thinker with a solutions-oriented mindset and high integrity.
Compensation
Base Salary: $175,000 annually
Bonus: Performance-based bonus opportunity
Travel Requirement
20–30% domestic travel, including client visits, trade shows, distributor meetings, and internal team events.
