Position Overview:

Experience Brands USA is seeking an accomplished National Sales Manager for Hess in North America, a renowned brand in the lighting industry and design community. This role is pivotal in driving business growth through strategic engagement with the specification community and agency partners. Reporting to the CEO of Experience Brands USA, the ideal candidate will excel in securing project specifications, fostering meaningful relationships, and delivering measurable results.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven success in sales within the architectural specification lighting market.
  • Creative thinker that can work with engineering team to develop profitable custom solutions.
  • The ability and willingness to establish themself as the “Hess Champion”, establishing their brand along with enhancing that of Hess.
  • Understanding of what it means to be the sales leader of a Premium Architectural Brand Nationally, including everything from personal style to communication skills.
  • Must be able to see a project from beginning to end.
  • Established relationships with specifiers, including architects, engineers, landscape architects, and lighting designers.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (preferably MS Dynamics) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Flexible location with proximity to a major airport; travel required (50-75%).

 

Key Responsibilities & Outcomes:
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Expand market share by securing project specifications, leveraging existing relationships, and cultivating new partnerships within the lighting specification community.
  • Collaboration for Impact: Partner with agency representatives, product management, engineering, and design teams to execute large-scale, complex, and custom projects seamlessly.
  • Data-Driven Execution: Utilize MS Dynamics to manage relationships, track opportunities, and ensure transparency in the sales process.
  • Leadership Alignment: Work closely with senior leadership to develop and refine sales strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Product Development: This role will be at the table for all new product ideas for the Hess Brand in North America
