Position Summary: As the Sales Manager for New York City, you will be instrumental in expanding LED Linear USA's market share in this region. We seek a proactive and strategic lighting professional with a robust background in the industry to drive sales and foster enduring relationships with key stakeholders. If you have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, a deep understanding of LED technology, and the ability to work effectively with architects, designers, and lighting specifiers, this is the opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and surpass sales targets in the New York City region.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the architectural, design, and lighting communities.

Identify and pursue large project opportunities, collaborating closely with channel partners to ensure LED Linear USA solutions are specified and purchased.

Deliver compelling training sessions and product demonstrations to rep agency networks, distributors, and specifiers, showcasing the benefits and applications of our products.

Provide valuable insights on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform pricing, positioning, and product development strategies.

Maintain a strong presence in the industry by participating in regional and national trade shows, networking events, and other relevant activities.

Ensure a customer-centric approach, offering exceptional service that distinguishes LED Linear USA from competitors.
Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience in the lighting industry, with a strong emphasis on securing specifications.

Demonstrated success working within a rep agency network and building effective channel partner relationships.

Comprehensive knowledge of LED technology, applications, and market dynamics.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of delivering technical material effectively.

Independent and self-motivated, with the ability to work remotely and maintain open, effective communication with management.

A strategic mindset with strong business planning and analytical skills.

Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, with the ability to create presentations, author communications, and prepare business analytics.

Must be based in the New York City area.
