Regional Sales Manager: Northeast U.S.

***Must reside within the territory and be located near a major metropolitan airport.***

Since 1970 Shat-R-Shield has been the world’s leading manufacturer of shatter-resistant fluorescent lamps, pioneering the protective lighting industry with the first protective coating applied directly to the lamp. Today, SRS continues to lead by manufacturing specialized LED lighting fixtures for its core markets of correctional, food and beverage processing, industrial, wastewater treatment, marine, and behavioral health. This position has responsibilities for the Northeast Region states of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Delaware, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Consistently attain sales quotas through sales of Shat-R-Shield products to prospects and existing customers.

  • Strengthen relationships and grow business with distribution, end-users, OEM’s, contractors, and specification engineers.

  • Identify, prioritize, and close new business opportunities in the market and promote existing and new products.

  • Develop, formalize, and implement a sales strategy including an annual and quarterly business plan for the territory; Monitor and direct manufacturer sales representatives to deliver annual sales objectives.

  • Development of annual forecast with each rep agency territory for lamp and fixture business.

  • Work closely with Customer Service/Inside Sales team to ensure customer satisfaction, timely shipments, and smooth order processing.



  • Minimum of 5 years previous regional sales experience in a similar industry

  • Specific knowledge of the electrical Industry, the lighting category in particular

  • Able to travel up to 75% of time; requires flexibility with changing travel schedule/arrangements.

  • A valid driver’s license and appropriate auto insurance coverage levels (on-going)

  • Supervisory skills, including the ability to motivate, coach and direct Manufacturer Sales Representatives

  • Must reside within the territory and be located near a major metropolitan airport.



  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or marketing

  • Computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel


Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $100,000.00 per year

Compensation package: Base + Commission pay

Schedule: Monday to Friday
