PLC Multipoint, Inc. is a small business that manufactures commercial lighting for industrial and transportation applications. Our company headquarters are located in Everett, WA and we have Engineering and QA departments in Bloomfield, CT.

We are looking for an Estimator to join our team and provide accurate estimates for projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in the lighting or electrical industries and be able to analyze plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate estimates. The Estimator will also be responsible for researching and gathering information about materials, labor costs, and production times to ensure that estimates are as accurate as possible. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work with a variety of stakeholders.

Job Location:

Everett, WA or Bloomfield, CT preferred.
Remote work considered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

Produce quotations using PLC pricing tools to meet sales and margin goals.
Utilize AutoCAD or similar drafting tools for reviewing project design intent.
Prepare estimates for commercial lighting projects.
Review and summarize project requirements based on all customer specification inputs.
Provide guidance and assistance to project managers.
Effectively communicate project requirements, concerns and quotation efforts with various individuals within the PLC sales channels.
Keep up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and new materials.
