Job Description:

As a Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales efforts and ensuring exceptional customer service. You will work closely with our external sales team, architects, engineers, contractors, and end-users to promote and sell our cutting-edge lighting and controls solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include the following:

  • Technical Consultation: Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and end-users to provide expert guidance on lighting and controls solutions. This involves analyzing complex lighting plan drawings and specifications to recommend optimized product selections.
  • Advanced Software Utilization: Utilizing specialized lighting design software such as AGI 32, Visual, Dialux, or equivalent to create precise lighting simulations and layouts that align with client requirements.
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrating an in-depth understanding of our lighting and controls product portfolio, including their technical specifications, capabilities, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Sales Strategy: Developing and executing technical sales strategies that leverage your knowledge to showcase the superiority of our products and solutions to potential and existing clients.
  • Order Management: Efficiently processing customer orders, tracking shipments, and ensuring seamless delivery while maintaining meticulous records of technical details.
  • Technical Training: Providing technical training and support to internal teams and clients, ensuring they fully comprehend the intricacies of our offerings.
  • Market Analysis: Staying at the forefront of industry developments, emerging technologies, and market trends to identify new opportunities and drive our business growth.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Architecture, or a related technical field (preferred).

  • Demonstrated experience in sales and/or consultation with a focus on lighting and controls products.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex lighting plan drawings and specifications.

  • Proven expertise in utilizing advanced lighting design software, including AGI 32, Visual, Dialux, or equivalent.

  • Exceptional technical acumen in lighting and controls systems, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.

  • Effective communication skills to articulate technical concepts to clients and team members.

  • Self-driven and goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and autonomously when necessary.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software for efficient sales management.

  • Adept at market research, identifying emerging trends, and competitive analysis to drive business growth.
