Western Regional Sales Manager

Western Regional Sales Manager:  Western USA

Headquartered in Pembroke, MA, JLC-Tech, LLC is a leading specification grade architectural lighting innovator and ceiling integration expert. Our products are the only LED lighting fixtures designed, approved, and patented to replace the cross members in a suspended grid ceiling system.

We are growing fast and looking for a Regional Sales Manager for the Western US to work hand in hand with our existing Western US Sales Team. Successful candidates have extensive knowledge of the lighting sales channel and a proven track record of driving sales growth with existing customers while simultaneously identifying and developing new business opportunities.

This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and works closely with all members of the JLC-Tech Customer Experience Team.

Exact Territory is TBD based on experience, relationships, and growth plan.

In this role you will:

  • Become a ceiling integration expert.

  • Work closely with Sales Representatives, Architects, Lighting Designers, Engineers, and other related Specifiers.

  • Fully understand and confidently navigate the complexity of North America’s lighting sales network.

  • Achieve sales budgets and quotas to grow profitable sales in the Western Region

  • Interact in person or virtually with all stakeholders as travel conditions apply.

  • Collaborate closely with the rest of the JLC-Tech team to ensure "premier” customer experience.

  • Attend product shows, locally sponsored events, and larger national trade shows.


Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in the Lighting or Ceiling Integration Industry

  • High level of energy, competitiveness, and willingness to succeed as a self-starter

  • Proven track record in interior architectural lighting or ceiling integration

  • Reputable working relationships with Sales Representatives, Architects, Interior designers, Lighting Designers, and Specifiers in the Western Region

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills related to technical products

  • Ability to work remotely and manage all sales roles and responsibilities

  • Well-developed communication, interpersonal, motivational, and organizational skills

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals in prior positions

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office suite

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
