Kelvix is looking for a West Regional Sales Director to lead sales growth across the western United States. This is a high-impact, relationship-driven role focused on strengthening Kelvix’s presence with agents, lighting specifiers, distributors, contractors, & key project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate brings strong lighting industry experience, understands the specification & agency channel, & knows how to translate market relationships into revenue growth.

This position reports to the VP of Sales & works closely with Project Management, Customer Experience, Applications, Product Development, Operations, & other members of the Kelvix team.

 

What You’ll Own:

Drive Regional Sales Growth

  • Own sales performance for the western region, including revenue growth, pipeline development, forecasting, & quota achievement.
  • Develop & execute a regional sales strategy aligned with Kelvix’s broader commercial goals.
  • Identify & pursue new business opportunities across the territory.
  • Strengthen existing customer, agent, & channel relationships while expanding Kelvix’s reach in priority markets.
  • Provide regular updates on sales activity, project opportunities, market conditions, & forecasted revenue.

 

Build & Strengthen Market Relationships

  • Develop strong relationships with agents, lighting specifiers, distributors, electrical contractors, architects, engineers, lighting designers, & other key stakeholders.
  • Represent Kelvix in customer meetings, agency meetings, product presentations, & industry events.
  • Present Kelvix’s company philosophy, products, & solutions in both small- & large-scale settings.
  • Serve as a trusted partner who understands customer needs & connects them to practical, high-quality Kelvix solutions.

 

Partner Internally to Support the Customer Experience

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Project Management, Customer Experience, Applications, Product Development, & Operations to support project success.
  • Provide market feedback, competitive insights, & customer intelligence to help inform product, pricing, & sales strategy.
  • Help ensure a best-in-class customer experience from initial opportunity through project execution.
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline updates, call reports, expense reports, & other sales administration.

 

Represent Kelvix in the Field

  • Travel regularly throughout the western region to support agents, customers, projects, & industry events.
  • Organize & attend trade shows, customer visits, agency meetings, & other business development activities.
  • Bring a proactive, professional, & solutions-oriented approach to every customer interaction.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects, priorities, & customer needs with a high degree of independence & follow-through.

 

What We’re Looking For:

Required

  • 5+ years of lighting sales, specification sales, regional sales, or related industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of the architectural lighting, LED lighting, or commercial lighting industry.
  • Proven ability to grow a territory, manage a sales pipeline, & achieve sales targets.
  • Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, & follow-through skills.
  • Ability to work independently in the field while staying closely connected to the internal team.
  • Experience using CRM tools to manage activity, pipeline, forecasting, & customer engagement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout the western region.
  • Reside within the western United States, preferably with reasonable access to a major airport.

 

Preferred

  • Established relationships with rep agencies, lighting designers, specifiers, distributors, contractors, architects, engineers, or related channel partners.
  • Experience working within the specification & agency sales channel.
  • Experience selling architectural lighting, commercial LED lighting, controls, or related products.
