Kelvix is looking for a Sales Director for the Northeast region to drive sales growth, strengthen customer and rep agency relationships, and identify new business opportunities across the territory. This position reports to the VP of Sales and works closely with Sales, Project Management, Customer Service, Product Development, Applications Engineering and other internal teams to support a best-in-class customer experience.

 

What You’ll Do
  • Establish and achieve sales goals, quotas, and territory objectives to support company growth.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with rep agencies, lighting designers, architects, distributors, contractors, and key customers throughout the Northeast region.
  • Present Kelvix products, solutions, and service model clearly and professionally in customer, rep agency, and industry settings.
  • Develop and execute territory plans to grow existing customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide product education, sales support, and market insight to customers and rep partners.
  • Attend and represent Kelvix at industry events, trade shows, customer meetings, and regional networking opportunities.
  • Monitor competitive products, industry trends, customer needs, and market conditions.
  • Manage multiple priorities, projects, customer needs, and territory responsibilities with a high degree of independence.
  • Maintain timely and accurate updates, including call reports, expense reports, pipeline activity, CRM updates, and assigned projects.
  • Reside in the Northeast region.
  • Model The Kelvix Way through clear, proactive, and collaborative internal and external communication, creating alignment, supporting timely follow-through, and helping internal teams deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

 

What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in lighting sales, preferably within architectural or specification-grade lighting
  • Strong understanding of the architectural lighting industry
  • Established relationships with rep agencies, lighting design firms, architectural firms, distributors, and/or contractors
  • Knowledge of LED technology, lighting products, and customer applications
  • Proven ability to grow sales through existing relationships and new business development
  • Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, customers, and priorities at the same time
  • Professional, responsible, service-oriented, and customer-focused approach
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned sales territory and to the Oregon office quarterly
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, lighting, or a related field preferred
