The Role
DALS Lighting is proud to offer an exciting career opportunity for a Regional Manager, Sales – Eastern US . Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Sales, this role is built for a driven, opportunity‑focused sales leader who thrives on momentum, innovation, and outperforming yesterday’s results.
This position plays a critical role in unlocking DALS’ significant growth potential across a largely underdeveloped territory. The ideal candidate is a proactive, growth‑minded professional with sharp instincts for prioritizing the right opportunities, building market presence, and converting potential into sustained revenue.
This role covers the Eastern United States, ranging from New England to Florida, and includes the following states and districts: ME, NH, VT, CT, MA, RI, NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, DC, VA, WV, TN, NC, SC, GA, AL, MS, and FL.
While this is a results‑driven role, success is powered by collaboration. You’ll be supported by an energetic, innovative internal team spanning product development, marketing, and customer service, along with a strong network of independent sales agencies that will benefit from your leadership, direction, and relationship‑building expertise. Main Responsibilities
Drive regional sales growth by developing and executing a territory strategy aligned with company objectives
- Identify, pursue, and close high‑value opportunities across key channels, including lighting showrooms, electrical Distributors (ED), builders, specification and construction projects
- Lead complex sales negotiations and serve as a brand ambassador within the regional lighting and design community
- Defend our core account base while aggressively implementing a sustainable growth strategy across the region
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, customers, specifiers, and key regional stakeholders
- Provide market intelligence and performance insights by analyzing trends, competitive activity, customer needs, and sales data to support regional and company planning
- Own and optimize the regional sales agency network across showroom, electrical distribution, and specification channels
- Drive agent performance by setting targets, equipping teams with sales tools, and supporting high‑impact customer calls
- Recruit and onboard new sales agencies to expand coverage and upgrade underperforming territories
- Deliver focused virtual and in‑person training, especially for new partners and product launches
- Lead pricing, negotiations, promotions, and account strategies to maximize revenue and product mix
- Support commercial specification efforts, including collaboration on lighting layouts when required
- Champion the DALS brand at regional trade shows and industry events, including Lightovation, LEDucation, and other high‑impact lighting forums to drive visibility, relationships, and new opportunities
