Inside Sales Rep

Wattsaver Lighting Products, a 35-year-old lighting distributor in East Hartford is searching for an Inside Sales Support Representative to join our team. We are a sales and service-oriented organization in the competitive and rapidly evolving environment of energy efficient lighting systems and supplies. This position offers room for growth within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Outside Sales Team to provide support and service to existing accounts
- Entry of sales orders in ERP system, including verification of rebate products
- Expedite purchase orders by contact with vendors to track the products from order to delivery
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Input lighting project data into models to produce reports
- Update database with relevant product specifications, certifications, and pricing
- Ensure accuracy of input data into lighting payback analysis
- Track project progress, report and maintain project timelines
- Quickly resolve customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
- Obtain or enhance product and technical knowledge in the lighting industry
Requirements:
- Previous lighting industry experience strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to operate multiple simultaneous projects
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Goal oriented, self-motivated with a strong work ethic
